Celebrate! The South Australia Community Broadcasters Association (SACBA) held it’s annual Bilby Awards online this year.
This year, WOWfm took home five Bilby awards, including Small Station of the Year for the fifth time!
In addition to small station award, three of our talented presenters: Anthony Sims, Craig Phillipsmith and Shannon Mowling, also brought home awards.
- Small Station of the Year – WOWfm
- Best Station ID, Station Promo or Program Promo – Homebrewed (Anthony Sims and Steve Parker)
- Runner-up, Best Local Music Program – Out of Tune (Craig Phillipsmith)
- Runner-up, Best Community Engagement – Rhymes for Radio (Craig Phillipsmith)
- Runner-up, Best Interview – Interview with Reclink Community Cup (Shannon Mowling)

What are the Bilby Awards?
The Bilby Awards celebrate the contribution community radio makes to our community and to encourage high achievement within the sector. The awards are open to members, judged by community radio people and are assessed on creativity and excellence in broadcasting.
